The B&W Cawanol reversal process is a bit technical and requires any of these specific films: Ilford PANF50 (Highest Contrast), Kodak T-MAX 100 (Great Contrast and Detail), Ilford Delta 100, Ilford FP4+, Fomapan 100 Classic, Fomapan 100 Reversal (Custom Order). Like Kodak Ektachrome in colour film, developing positive films narrow the dynamic range versus that of negative print film. Ultra bright vs. Ultra dark should be avoided as much as possible. Normally an exposure could range 6 to 7 stops from white to black, with positive development in mind, try keep it within 3, max 4 stops of extremes.
